Description

We are looking for a self-driven Hardware Support Engineer to join our team! As a Hardware Support Engineer, you are able to:

� Provide technical assistance and support to customers on hardware-related issues such as installation, configuration, and maintenance.

� Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems, including identifying faulty components and performing repairs or replacements as needed.

� Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and quality assurance, to identify and resolve hardware-related issues.

� Conduct product testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement in hardware design and functionality.

� Maintain accurate records of hardware support requests, including documentation of all troubleshooting steps and resolutions.

� Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in hardware technology to provide knowledgeable and effective technical support to customers.

� Grab your travel pass as you could travel locally and abroad and build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge transfer to customers or sales channel partners on system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills!

Operational Deliverables and Contribution:

� Providing technical assistance and support to customers on hardware-related issues such as installation, configuration, and maintenance.

� Collaborating with cross-functional teams to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems and ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

� Conducting product testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement in hardware design and functionality.

� Support deployment, imaging, installation, and configuration on an ad hoc basis

� Participating in the development of new hardware products and features by providing feedback and suggestions based on customer needs and trends in the industry.

� Contributing to the development and implementation of processes and procedures related to hardware support to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.

Credentials Needed

� Diploma / Degree in Science and Engineering. Preferably in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical), Computer Science / Studies, Science & Technology, or equivalent

� Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar field.

� Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Linux and MS Products.

� Experience with retail stores, including Point of sale (POS), Self-Checkout Kiosk (SCO), and other related store-based applications and devices.

� Knowledge of hardware components and systems, including but not limited to computer hardware, servers, networking equipment, and storage devices.

� Hands-on experience with hardware or software installation/removal.

� Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems and implement effective solutions.

� Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment to resolve complex hardware-related issues.

� Customer-oriented behavior and mindset

� Possess own transport and is willing to travel when required.

� Flexible, reliable, dependable, and able to work long & irregular hours if required.

� Proficient in English & Bahasa, oral and written
