Job Description
The appointed individual will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of IT systems, providing user support, maintaining IT infrastructure (hardware & software), and implementing small-scale projects related to system improvements. The candidate must possess basic technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to users (1st-level troubleshooting).
- Install, configure, and maintain computer devices, networks, and software.
- Monitor systems and report technical issues to relevant parties.
- Update IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
- Assist in the implementation of IT projects and system improvements.
- Comply with organizational security policies and standard procedures.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. (Candidates with relevant experience but without formal academic qualifications may also be considered, depending on company policy.)
Experience
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support / system administration / helpdesk is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Windows, macOS and UNIX operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and user support tools (e.g., remote desktop tools).
- Basic understanding of networking & hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Bonus: Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices or Cloud.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English (verbal & written). Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and responsible.
Others
- Own transportation & valid driving license (if IT support includes visits to branches/other locations).
- Willing to perform on-call duties or after-hours support (if required — can be specified according to company needs).
