Responsible for architecting, researching, designing, developingWorkday integrations. Be part of HRIS team that manages and supports severalWorkday integrations & coordinate with vendors and relevant internalstakeholders to produce detailed specifications and write integration code tomove data in and out of Workday.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designand develop and manage interfaces and conduct UAT and integration tests withinthe architecture of Workday HCM system.
- Providesupport for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes toexisting integrations and develop new integrations.
- Providesupport for incident management and integration monitoring.
- Performroutine break/fix support and regression testing and support theinbound/outbound interfaces to the systems.
- Ensureaccuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, cleardocumentation, and problem resolution.
- Analyzeand translate business requirements into and functional and technicalspecifications.
- Ensureintegrations function as designed based on functional and technicalrequirements.
- Consultwith business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance;collaborate on design decisions.
- Understandand follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality, data securityand privacy standards.
- Understandand follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree incomputer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- 3 -5 years of experience in Workday development,configuration, and integration
Competence & Skills:
- Strong expertise in Workday Integrations and implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Report Writer, Calculated fields and Workday Studio)
- Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
- Technical experience with XML and XLST
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Understand database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
- Gather and document requirements, perform UAT and obtain sign-off for production deployment.
- Experience with integration design and relational database technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows, with experience in implementing Workday solutions.
