My name is Muhd Amir Qayyum bin Mohd Amiruddin, a final-year student where I am studying Information Technology in Information Security. I am interested in any Technology position at any company in KL and my experience during previous internship at Permodalan Nasional Berhad have left me eager to gain additional hands-on experience in the field. Currently, I am pursuing my study in the Third Year 8th Semester in Information Technology in Information Security program. My internship will take place this upcoming May 2022 until September 2022. Purpose of the internship is to develop my practical skills in the branch of Information Security Management, gain a good insight on the company's various interfaces as well as to build awareness of the industry's future challenges.

My work experience previously at Permodalan Nasional Berhad as their Information Security Intern had greatly contributed to my career development and interests. The internship gave me the privilege of interacting with and learning from experts in the field. While on my five-month internship, I was primarily abled to learn about Penetration Testing, Open Web Application Security Project, Security Information & Event Monitoring, Privileged Access Management, Vulnerability & Security Assessment, Cyber Security Incident Response Plan and so on and so forth. My stay with Permodalan Nasional Berhad has motivated me to pursue a long-term career in the field of Information Security.

I believe I will be a good fit since I am willing to learn, adaptable and open to new experiences, abilities and knowledge, as well as ready to learn from others. Although I have accumulated a foundational knowledge of Information Security Management, I find it important to work for a company with a strong reputation and high profile to explore, observe and participate in the tasks and responsibilities performed daily by professionals. I believe an internship at any company would help me further develop new skills and knowledge which I can apply in the workplace, as well as to take on vital information about the industry that prepares me for the job market and gain relevant experience.
