Position: Data Analyst (Manufacturing Associate)
Duration: 1 year contract (renewable/convertible to permanent)
Basic salary: RM4,000 - RM6,000 (able to negotiate more based on experience and skills)

The candidate should be proficient in Excel, Python, R, SQL, and have hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI. -

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs.
- Clean, transform, and analyze data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets, utilizing advanced worksheet formulas, array formulas, pivot tables, PowerQuery, and data models.
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data for analysis.
- Use programming languages such as Python and R to perform statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
- Design and create interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau and Power BI to convey insights to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for analysis.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data analysts in best practices for data analysis and visualization.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, etc.); advanced degree preferred.
- 3-4 years or more of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, PowerQuery, and data modeling techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries to extract and transform data.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, including the ability to create interactive dashboards and reports.
- Know how to do scripting from scrap using (VBA or Python or Power BI)
- Intermediate & above level in Microsoft Excel minimum.
- Solid proficiency in English (Speaking & Writing)
